Country Battle: 193 flags bouncing in the arena in the portrait build, with claimed flags showing viewer names

Country Battle is a last-one-standing physics battle royale between 193 country flags. A viewer types a country to claim it, their name goes on the flag, and the room cheers as flags are knocked out one by one until a single survivor — and a single viewer — is crowned.

Why it works on a live stream

Country Battle solves the hardest problem a small stream has: getting the first message out of a lurker. Claiming a country costs one word, carries no risk of looking foolish, and immediately gives that viewer something on screen with their name on it.

After the claim, engagement sustains itself. Viewers are no longer watching a game — they are watching their country, and they will tell you about it loudly for the next ten minutes.

What happens during a battle

  1. All 193 flags enter the arena as physics bodies
  2. Viewers claim countries in chat; claimed flags show the viewer's name
  3. Collisions eliminate flags one by one, with eliminations announced on screen
  4. The field narrows to a final few, and sudden death kicks in
  5. One flag survives — and one viewer is crowned

Best moments to run it

  • Mid-stream slump. It resets a room's energy faster than anything else in the pack.
  • After a raid. Incoming viewers can join within seconds without context.
  • Vertical platforms. The portrait build is designed for phone screens.

Pair it with the advice in raising chat engagement — announce the claim window loudly, repeat it every thirty seconds, and read out names as countries fall.

Setup

Country Battle comes as two stages: 1080×1920 portrait and 1920×1080 landscape. Generate the version you need in the members area, add it as an OBS browser source, and go live. Included on Blaze and Inferno.

Questions about Country Battle

How do viewers join Country Battle?

They type a country name in your live chat. That claims the country for them, and their name appears on it as it fights.

How long does one battle last?

Typically eight to fifteen minutes depending on how many countries are eliminated early. Sudden-death mechanics prevent it dragging.

Can more than one viewer claim the same country?

No — first to type it takes it, which creates a genuine race in the opening minute and gets lurkers typing fast.

Does it work in portrait for TikTok?

Yes. There are two versions: 1080×1920 portrait for TikTok LIVE and other vertical platforms, and 1920×1080 landscape for widescreen streams.

What happens if nobody claims a country?

The battle still runs with all 193 flags, so the game is watchable even with an empty chat — and every claim adds a personal stake.
